Centre for nephrology is dedicated to the understanding of kidney diseases, their development, progression, treatment and prevention. The department consists of highly skilled committed nephrologist and the paramedical staff including dialysis technicians, nurses and housekeeping staff are well versed with their technical skills and perform equivalent to best kidney center. It provides a full range of renal services including hospital hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and care for transplant recipients. The day-to-day activity includes more than 90 hemodialysis, CAPD’s, 5-10 SLEDDs and approximately 3-5 CRRT procedures and 5-8 kidney biopsies and 10-20 temporary /permanent vascular access placements every week.
